The V-4 has been the center piece for the industry VJs, not to mention some churches as well. Following it’s success, Edirol is releasing the V-8 video mixer. Other than the obvious improvement of being able to mix 4 additional video channels, it has a built-in scan converters allowing you to directly connect your laptop to the mixer via VGA port. A much improved video quality, at 500 lines of DV video quality, and not to mention many new video effects and transition making the V-8 a very demanding piece of hardware. Start saving now because it’s suppose to retail at $1999, not cheap and my feeling is the line is already around the block.
